Why Broadband matters for kids...
The Children's Partnership released this week an Issue Brief on Broadband
and Youth entitled, Helping Our Children Succeed: What's Broadband Got to do With It? Considering that there is substantial action in the Calif
state legislature and in Congress that will impact not only access to the
Internet, but the multitudes of services it provides and applications it
powers for our young people, we feel this is an important piece. We hope
you will share it widely.

Helping Our Children Succeed: What's Broadband got to do with it?
By April KirkHart and James Lau with Wendy Lazarus
June 2006
This issue brief is designed to help leaders for children better understand what broadband is and what is at stake for our nation's 73 million children in the policy debate, and to offer concrete ways that leaders can make children's needs a priority and advocate for digital opportunities for all youth.
